Our worshipping
We meet every day with our brothers and sisters. Together we study Scripture or topics based on Biblical priniciples, we dialogue how it applies to real life, we play musical instruments, sing praise and give thanks to our Lord. We pray for our needs and especially for people who have not yet accepted Jesus into their life. In all freedom. We try to do each activity for the glory of God.
We meet every Sabbath/Saturday (Seventh day of the Lord, blessed and sanctified by God). This day we often associate with memory of the Lord's Supper. The Sabbath begins at sunset Friday evening and ends at sunset Saturday evening. This day is a reminder of our deliverance and salvation in Christ. It is a day of rest and relaxation from all the work. We have a deep connection with our God in this holy time.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it"
(Exodus 20: 8-11).

The crime of the Antichrist

The story about the Sabbath begins during the creation of the world - Genesis.
"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made" (Gn. 2: 2-3).
The Lord completed his work in six days. The seventh day He rested and sanctified it so He could be connected with His creation. During this day we have to be in a close contact with our Creator and at the same time we have to rest from our everyday work and dedicate all our time to God.
Sabbath is not a law but the gift from God. The same way as light, sky, earth, sea and other created things are not laws.
God´s commandments did not establish the Sabbath.
God´s commandment was established for Sabbath protection,
so it could be kept without interruption.
Based on Earth orbit around the sun we determine that time unit – year, based on month – month and by rotation of day and night we determine – a day. But weekly cycle seems to have no meaning. However it has a meaning. The weekly origin is based on Bible. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work and the seventh day you will have a rest, it is a day of rest. Rotation of six days work and one day rest perfectly fits human physiology and it is necessary for our body to have a rest. This cycle is built in us from the creation of the world. This seven day weekly cycle we can find in Babylon. How is it possible? The same way as God´s laws are being written into our hearts and minds. (Hebrews 10:16), so the weekly cycle was written inside us from the very beginning.
Lord commanded us to keep this day and emphasizes it in Ten God´s Commandments.
The 4th commandment which is also the longest says:
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God... For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it" (Ex. 20: 8-11).
The original Hebrew word in these verses is: yom hashabbat - sabbath day. As in universe there are different laws for perfect harmony so God´s creatures must keep Creator´s laws that were established by Him. We can choose whether we will obey them or not. But we must suffer the consequences of our decision. Imagine that in universe any law would stop working. Whole universe would collapse in chaos and would be destroyed. The same is happening with our Earth. Many people say that when Christ came the fourth commandment was abolished and is not valid anymore. However, God´s commandments are eternal and nowhere in New Testament it is written that He would come to destroy, but to fulfill. (Matthew 5:17-19).
Ten God´s Commandments were written by the finger of God to two table stones that Moses carried. First table stone talks about commandments that we need to fulfill from the love to God including the fourth commandment – the Sabbath. The second table of stone talks about commandments such as: thou shalt not kill, thou shall not steal…. That we keep from the love towards fellowmen. Lord Jesus has summarized the God´s Commandments as follows: "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these" (Mark 12: 30-31).
Books of Moses always remind us of the sabbath keeping even before the Ten God´s Commandments on the mount of Sion, when manna was given in a dessert (Ex. 16: 23-29), (Ex. 31: 12-17; Ex. 35: 2; Lev. 19: 3,30; Lev. 23: 3;...). When Moses broke these two table of stones he God gave him the same God´s laws that are enriched. (Deu. 5: 1-21).
Table stones with eternal God´s laws were place into the Ark of the Covenant inside the sanctuary. This earthly sanctuary was built as an image of the heavenly sanctuary. (Hebrews 8: 5). This was the replication of heavenly sanctuary where Jesus Christ became a High Priest. He became a sacrifice and our mediator between God and people. He freed us from earthly priests and bloody sacrifices. However not from God´s Law that is eternal. (Hebrews chapter 9) Justification is through the faith of sacrifice Jesus Christ, not through acts of law, but knowing the sin comes from God´s law! This is specified especially for Hebrews that have not accepted Christ into their hearts but kept ceremonial laws of Old Testament. However this does not abolish God´s law – Ten God´ Commandments. Based on it we will be judged. They are the eternal commandments based on which God will judge us righteously. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" (James 2: 26).
Christ has freed us from human law of body and sin but not from God´s Law!
We can read about the Sabbath keeping in prophecies for today. That is why we cannot separate Old Covenant from New Covenant that is renewed through Jesus. List of few verses: Isaiah 56: 1-2; Isaiah 56: 6-7; Isaiah 58: 11-14; Jer. 17: 21-22; Ezek. 20: 12; Ezek. 20: 19-20;… and so on. Sabbaths (Saturdays) are valid not only for Israel as a country but for all Christian, so also for spiritual Israel, that is all over the world. We are also His people and children of Abraham – but not through blood and body but through our faith in Jesus Christ.
"Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them" (Ez. 20: 12).
And here we are getting to the time after Christ birth. How is it possible that today people all over the world keep Sunday or proclaim that Sabbath rest could be any day?
When Christianity became a state religion in the 4th century and got connected with pagans and the world, officially the Sabbath (Saturday) was changed to the first day of the week (Sunday). Bible warns us about the connection with the world in the following verse: "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (James 4: 4). Caesar Constantine in Rome decided to change this day. He was dedicated worshipper of sun god. At that time Caesars worshipped sun god and they celebrated Sunday. (in English Sunday – day of sun).
He became a "Christian" when in one military operation he saw the cross like created from the sun and he thought it is God´s miracle because he won that battle. So he caused death of x people and he said it was God´s miracle? And this is the time after Christ. By that he made decision as a first roman Caesar to convert to Christianity, he stopped persecution and killing of Christians and at the same time he changed the Sabbath (Saturday) rest to Sunday. He continued in his pagan tradition and he got baptized only on his death-bed!
At the same time many people proclaim that they keep Sunday because of Christ´s resurrection on that day. They celebrate his ascention and resurrection. However God´s Word does no say anything about it that we should celebrate it. So it means it has NO BIBLICAL ROOT. Even our Lord Jesus Christ has given us example to keep the God´s Sabbath as He is the Lord of the Sabbath.
Like today even at that time Sabbath was a big argument. Christ was sentenced to death especially because he broke the Sabbath, but not the God´s Sabbath but human Sabbath. Lawgivers and Pharisees made a burden from the Sabbath that they themselves could not bear. They destroyed the true nature of Sabbath, they added many regulations and commands that they made up as for instance (prohibition of writing more than one letter, prohibition of combing… etc.). Sabbath became martyr´s burden and not God´s rest and time of rejoicing. In the book of Mark in chapters 2 and 3 we can see that Christ broke these human commandments and highlighted the true nature of Sabbath. He never tried to solve the dispute whether to keep the Sabbath or not, but what is allowed to do on the Sabbath and what is not allowed. That is why Sabbath is always God´s day of rest till today. It is a time of rest, joy, love, worship, healing and doing good service.
"And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath" (Mk. 2: 27-28).
We keep the Sabbath because we love God. That is why it is God´s will what will be the day like. It is important to have a rest and be connected to our Creator.
Jesus kept the Sabbath. He went to the synagogue every Sabbath to teach and do the worship (Lk. 4: 16). He is Our example. The 6th chapter of Luke talk a little bit about this dispute:
"Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?" (Lk. 6: 9). Christ always highlighted the true nature of Sabbath and broke the human regulations that were added to the law of God. Even women that were accompanying Jesus kept the Sabbath – it was after his resurrection: "And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment" (Lk. 23: 56). Christ stayed in the tomb and rested because Father also rests that day.
Now we come to the time of resurrection of Jesus and after Holy Spirit pouring out during Pentecost. Paul – the servant of Jesus Christ also continued keeping the Sabbath (Acts 18: 4). And here is the verse that many use for keeping Sunday. "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight" (Acts 20: 7). Not many people read through that vers! They came together on the first day of the week – on Sunday because the next day he wanted to travel. And one other thing, first Christians came together every day in houses breaking of bread. (Acts 2: 41-47). God´s Word clearly warns:
"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him" (1.John 2: 4).
Keeping the 10 God´s Commandments reflects God´s people.
"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments" (1. John 2: 3).
Punishment for the transgression of the 10 God´s Commandments does not have to be loss of salvation because:
"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1John 2: 1–2).
But ignoring the 10 God´s Commandments is a spiritual killing:
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries" (Hebrews 10: 26–27).
Some people tent to use the verse in Col 2: 16 in order to show that Sabbath was abolished. They forget to read also verse 17 that completes the previous sentence: "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ". In early Christian time many Christians kept some ceremonial laws that were marked by keeping certain feasts, ceremonies, specific food and drinks and also keeping yearly feasts – that were called Sabbaths. These were feast days when people did not work, and worshipped similarly as on the seventh day Sabbath. These ceremonial laws including special Sabbaths were fulfilled by death and service of Jesus. Paul by his comments warns the believers not to dispute and not to condemn for non-valid ceremonial laws – Sabbaths. Paul in epistle to Romans chapter 14:1-8 writes about the same question and uses the same principle. It is similar than in Galat. 4: 8-20. God´s Word says in Deuteronomy 31: 24-26,
that these ceremonial laws were recorded by Moses into the book off law and this book was placed by the side of the golden ark of covenant that is not inside of it. But 10 God´s commandments written by God´s finger on two table stones with eternal validity were placed inside the golden ark of covenant. (Deuteronomy 10: 1-5). We have to acknowledge that Paul in Colossians does not talk about the Sabbath – that is about the seventh day according to God´s commandment. He talks about Sabbaths, which are "shadow of the things to come." Sabbath as a last day of the week is a remembrance of creation. And as other remembrance day points back to the creation but not forward to Christ.
During the Hebrew year there were a few so called Sabbaths, that were shadows of things to come. (They are mentioned in Leviticus 23: 4-44). These ceremonial Sabbaths were connected with the Pesach feast and other feast days that were pointing to the future service of Jesus. (1 Cor. 5: 7). Christians are not to keep these specific Sabbaths. Instead of that we have to remember the death of Jesus during every Lord´s supper till he comes (1Corint. 11: 26).
Shabbat is a gift of God that cannot be used as a law burden which is based on human commands. We are to keep it from our love to God and not from command. There are also people that keep Sabbaths – for example orthodox Jews but they did not accept Christ as a living sacrifice for the sins. There are also different Christian communities that keep the Sabbath but deny other bible truths. However that does not change the fact that Sabbath should be another day:
"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief" (Hebrews 4: 9-11).
During God's judgment His ark of covenant will be open where is God's Law:
"And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail" (Revelation 11: 19).
